The Sikorsky Aircraft Retirees is a non-affiliated and not for profit organized group of retirees from Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. Its sole purpose is to socialize with one another at a monthly luncheon nine times during the year.

An operating team luncheon arranger contracts a caterer for each luncheon, callers or their alternates contact members that are on the call list to advise them of the location of the luncheon and establishes a list of those planning to attend amd pass the list on to the arranger. At the luncheon, the arranger, with help, assigns a table captain whose job it is to oversee the sign-in sheet and collect the money for the luncheon. These monies are pooled and serve to provide the payment to the catering establishment. First timers and returnees are requested to add their names to the bottom of the sign-in sheet.

Attention all SAR members. The SAR web site is now accessible with a successful file transfer to a different server. There were about 3400 files to deal with that have been accumulating since we went on line in 2003. The web site is now limited to 2010 and 2011 web pages plus this years addition (2012) and the remainder will be held in dormant file to better files contol .Your patience during this effort is appreciated.
